How much does your truck weigh? Not what the book says, I want to know what the scale says. Mine is usually in the 6k range I have a 96 1500 360 4x4 short box Club cab.

Before this thread begins, let it be known that GVW = / = Curb weight.

Scale says 6600 with 3/4 tank of gas, me, and my wife. 96 Ram 2500 extended cab, (whatever the key work/tricky phrase dodge calls it) short bed, 4X4. Stuffed 3000 lbs. of topsoil in it five minutes later.....

I went to the scrap yard not to long ago,and when on the scale...with me inside, (around half a tank of gas)-mine was 5829lbs.
