Default Death Flash

So after some trolling around the forums, I have come to the conclusion that my 5.9 2001 Ram has the DF from the factory. Am i correct in assuming that, or is there a way I can be absolutely positive I've got it?

There should be a sticker indicating it's been flashed on the radiator support or the PCM itself.

That myth has already been debunked. The death flash was not because of the plenum issue. Whether 2001s had it from the factory, I would agree with you that they did, but no one (yet) knows for sure.

Read the whole death flash thread in the 2nd Gen FAQ. Silver did a nice job on giving us all that information.

So there is no way of knowing for definite sure that your truck was DF? ALL the stickers under the hood are missing on my truck. Dont ask me why, I think its stupid too.
