did that the battery code is the only one that came back on.....did a little reading and from what i understand the battery code just means that someone has disconnected the battery in the past...guessin the only way to get rid of this code is with a scanner....couldnt get it to reproduce the dying on my test drive after clearing codes.....came back home and checked codes and only battery code on.....

my friends 98 sport did that...it always idled real low and then died....all he had to do was change the battery and now it runs good as ever

I believe Laramie's truck just had a similar issue, and it turned out to be corrosion (or whatever the proper term for it is) on the battery terminals.

Glad you figured it out young_blood.

Try swapping your ASD relay for another identical, non-essential relay (like fog lights/horn/headlights) and see if whatever you swapped it for works along with seeing if your truck is still having a hissy fit.

The relay is in the PDC and the lid will tell you where it is.

Nevermind, I see that you got it to quit dying.
