Talking Guess What I just got for the Ram!

The plenum reiforcement kit, thermo. and gaskets came in from Huges, also the transmission rebuild kit came in and is getting put in. There project is about to begin, I just wanted to show you guys the intake im about to modify and how bad it looks.


The auto tech. students workin on the Ram.

Yeah I soaked it with a can of carberator cleaner, then pressure hosed it. Still dirty! so my roommate took it to the auto tech. building and soaked it in some industrial cleaner they have and its been there for a while now.

Of course, and I also got an extra throttle body to do the fastman mod. since there is a steel mill near my hometown.

So when you do the kegger mod, do you know how much your gonna cut off the runner? Also, are you gonna do an angel cut or a straight cut? Everyone has there own theories on what works best.

I found a step by step DIY a while back on the kegger mod. Im gonna find it again (hopefully) and just follow that. If now I plan on cutting the runners at a 45 to 60 degree angle perpendicular to the top of the manifold. Then just smooth them down and bore out a little of the edge near the injector holes. I heard that helps as long as your dont bore too much.
