o2 sensor help

so i have a 2001 dodge ram 5.2l 4x4 reg cab. im lookin for a new pre-cat sensor but it always list 2 of them, a left and a right. wtf is that? thought the was only 1 before the cat. any help please.

When it's listed for left and right, that is for California emissions.

Have a look under there, and see how many there are. You might have four sensors total..... (Two pre-cat, and two post cat, along with multiple cats....Meow.)

That won't help either. He needs to have his truck looked at to determine whether or not it's got Federal or California emissions.
