Default Magnaflow 23285

Just purchased the Magnaflow 23285. They tell me that I need to get a special clamp for the drivers side y-pipe to the cat. After looking at it I cant tell which kind of clamp I should get.

Can anybody tell me which clamp I need?

According to this it will fit:

I had a post on here earlier asking about what cat I should use. And Jasons signature says:

Bad Catalytic Converter
Common symptoms of a naughty kitten are various and many. Sometimes the catalytic converter literally turns to a red color while the truck is running, due to the extreme heat build up from the blockage of exhaust flow. Other times the check engine light, or CEL, will come on and the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be related to a post-catalytic converter (2nd) O2 sensor. That sensor's sole function is to determine whether the converter is healthy or not, it has nothing to do with your air/fuel ratio (thats the front O2 sensor's job). On the rare occasion, the converter was be so plugged up it will cause the truck to behave strangely/poorly; you may not be able to drive faster than 45 mph (or lower). It may idle strangely, or not be able to run at all.

Do not buy a stock replacement converter from a dealership, they will overcharge you. An aftermarket converter will do a better job, be more free-flowing, and cheaper.

The solution:

Most 1994-1998 Dodge Rams:
Magnaflow 23285 Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter

Most 1999-2001 Dodge Rams:
Magnaflow 94009 Universal Catalytic Converter
