best way IMO, is to cut off your muffler...stick a pipe in and bust all the crap up, start it, rev it and blow the crap out, then get a couple adaptors, and put the muffler back on....much easier....and yes take out the 02 sensor....


i cut my muffler off, and its very easy acess to get something in there and bust it up...my exhaust ends about 2 feet after the cat, and sounds real good.

meh I cut into the cat body with a cutoff wheel, knocked the crap out of it and mig'd it back in place, start to finish 30 minutes.

Me too. Made a mess though and I hope I don't get some tumors for swallowing/breathing a few of those heavy metals.

I live in Texas and I wanna gut the c/c, but Idk if we have emissions tests here, anyone know? With the cat gutted with the truck start throwing codes, there is a pre-cat sensor and a post-cat too.

im from oklahoma and we dont have inspections im pretty sure texas is the same way. it shouldnt throw any codes, its still reading the same air. thats just me.

i ran streight longtubes for 8 months no cats with cutout and didnt have a code at all
