Default FelPro?

FelPro took a long weekend, so i didn't get to express a concern. Logic tells me the head gasket tabs should both be up and printed sides up. But, for R-side gasket to align properly...tabs up and had to put printed side down.
Is this typical?

been 30yrs. since i had to crack off heads-so maybe things have changed

The felpro stock replacement head gaskets are not "printed" to a specific side of the engine. They will seal

Good numbers there, man. As long as #8 doesn't leak down you're in good shape.
