Default tire size question

Ok I tried looking for this and decided it would just be easier to ask...right now my truck has 245-75-16 on it.....what is the widest and most sporty looking tire I can put on it....I don't go mudding or anything, its just a daily driver.

Thanks, John

I have an 01 Ram 1500 Off Road which sits a little higher than a standard and just put on some 285's with stock wheels and it looks pretty good, no rubbing. It had 265's on it when I got it and you can tell the difference between the 265's and 285's, I also noticed a little less low end power as well. I think I could go as much as 305's and still have no rubbing.

My brother-in-law is running 285/75/16 with no problems.

I think he's looking for 2wd tire options... it helps if you give some details about your truck... lifted, lowered, year, 4x4, 2x4 etc.

Nice truck btw and welcome to Dodge Forum

If you are wanting low profile tires, you will probably have to get some 20" rims with some 275's mounted on them.
