Get a hybrid u-joint to adapt the larger shaft to the smaller yoke on the trans end.

Call Riverside Gear. Tell them what you have, and they can get you what you need. I would suggest getting the slip yoke that fits your trans, but, accepts the larger U-joint.

You may want to get the axle in and measure for drive-line length. If I'm not mistaken, you will have to shorten it a bit since the diff is so much larger. If thats the case, just have them weld on the appropriate yokes.

Or are you using the the shaft that came with the axle? Is the truck it is coming from the same configuration (extended cab short box)?

What are you doing about the front? Throwing in a 60, or running mismatched wheels?
