All's well that ends.

My "vendors to avoid" list grew by one because I don't appreciate vendors coming along trying to make a buck off of the forum without buying in as a sponsor, so it ended well for me. I'll just try to be quicker next time one shows up and keep right on being happy.

If no one else has mentioned it either, an AEM or K&N filter will add up to 15-20 horsepower to the V8 as well. Overall, if you aren't looking to spend too much money while getting good products, take a look at those guys.
at least you ar not selling this POS:

140k on my engine and plugs are clean as new with 5k since I bought the truck....doesnt burn any oil either so..... I'm just saying you shouldnt assume....its an old truck and waiting till you have an issue before spending money on something that isnt broke aint always the best approach... Sometimes you guys post like you get so many cents on the dollar for every hughes aftermarket plenum kit sold.... lets help him find whats actually causing his issues with symptoms and facts here rather than blind advice on things to spend money on.... He has never stated wheather he in fact has largher tires or not....if he has 31" or larger tires chances are the gears are factory and that could be the biggest contributor to his power woes...

Yeah, but, you would need your quarter mile long extension cord, and some guy with a bottle running next to the guy holding the blower....... that would be..... awkward...... I really don't seem them running that fast.

So it was overtorqued at some point. That's a symptom of a moron figuring out the basics of how to work a wrench. I have a policy of never giving a moron a wrench or anything else with which he might do harm to himself or others, but I do make exceptions for a moron working on his own vehicle if he's just pissed me off enough. And I get well out of the way before he gets started so I can laugh at a distance rather than bleed in close proximity.

I also entertain myself by knocking over bamboo control towers to agitate the natives so don't take my word for anything. Not much risk of that, eh?
