Default 2001 dodge ram 2500 loses power

I love my truck, keep it well maintained. Monday going down GA 400 it suddenly lost power, depressed gas pedal but nothing happened, traveled about 1/4 mile and it regained power again and then lost power, I finally made it to an exit and left it at Dodge dealer. They put it on a computer, fuel filter ok, they said everything checked out except my airbag module...?? What does that have to do with my truck losing and regaining power? I understand there are several modules but they had my truck connected to a computer all day Tuesday and finally called with this diagnosis, anyone have any ideas or suggestions, thanks?

Were you using cruise control? Did the check engine light come on?

Maybe a bad/broken/clogged Catalytic Converter, or the 02 Sensor/s are going. Could even be something in the transmission like torque converter. Did it run rough or still rum smooth just no power.
