Default 46re od shudder

I have a 94Ram 2500 5.9 2x4 46re 125k miles. I get this shudder when it shifts into od. turning it off helps but still feels like it's there. don't know if the bands have ever been adjusted (would it make a difference?). any info would be appreciated.

That would be caused by you TCC switch valve/spool switch valve on the valve body. It is somewhat common on our tranny's. Check this out.

If I were you, I'd buy the Sonnax Sure Cure Kit. It's included in there. I installed on on my truck and it's pretty awesome.
