Default are diesel 2500 4x4's taller than gassers

are the diesel 2500 4x4's taller than the 2500 4x4 gassers stock?

yeah they have different spring rates front and rear.

higher spring rate wont necessarily make the vehicle taller.

What he was trying to say was that the front springs are slightly taller, and that you have more leaves in the back.

All 2500's and 3500's do.

ok, thats confusing laramie...i was with you up until you said all 2500/3500 do...
you say they have longer coils and more leaves, but all 2500/3500 do?
you must mean all diesel 2500/3500 not gas 2500/3500?

As far as I know, and until I'm proven wrong, I say that both the diesels and the gassers have the same suspensions.

interesting rock auto has springs for both, the gassers it lists husky spring pn rv788 and RV1710 for the same gvw and wb for the diesels. im gunna shoot husky an email and see what exactly the difference is. it appears that the pn are all the same for the rear gas or not.

Same equiped CTD will have about 500-600lbs higher curb wt. compared to a V10.
CTD would have stronger spring rates than the gasers I would think
