Like the title says, I'm installing a new APS Billet Plenum Plate Deluxe Kit (99 Ram 5.9). Is there anything else when replacing the plenum that I should make sure is new as well like the pcv valve? Thanks.
Heater bypass hose, Torque to yield bolts, thermostat, check and clean egr, oil change when your done. I ran it then changed it again in 5 miles, still had coolant in the oil. Now would also be a good time to change the cap/rotor and cam positioning sensor. Just easier to access. GOOD LUCK!
No, when you pull the intake the coolant runners still have coolant in them, gravity brings it into the engine through the valley. Hense... Change the oil.
I thought you were suppose to drain 2 gallons of coolant out before you remove the kegger?
Coolant hides though. It waits for you to give it an escape, and then runs into the places you least want to see it. Coolant is just like that.
Even draining it down, there is still a good possibility some will be trapped in a location likely to cause you trouble. I think the engineers design them that way.
