So I should try and get the Valvoline ATF+4 or the Mopar ATF+4. Yea I plan on checking the plenum today

 

i would. the valvoline is $5.50-$6.00 per quart, from napa, advance, autozone, etc. the mopar is probably dealer only, at mega-bucks per qt. the walmart is not that much cheaper, at $4 or so.

advance has the best gasket and filter kit. its a nice rubberized gasket that holds the pan bolts while you crawl under the car. i don't like the cork gaskets as well. don't overtighten the pan bolts.

i recommend that everyone put in a drain plug. dorman part number 65241 is one. you can put it in the side or the bottom. just place it where it doesn't hit anything on the inside, and put it on one of the flat spots.

i learned something good about Advance the other day. they told me they could order anything that was in stock at the distribution center in Atlanta, about 60 miles away, and have it there in within about 4 hours. i ordered a seal at 5:00 in the afternoon, and they had it there at 7:30 the next morning. i thought that was damn good.

 

Ya I agree they've ordered stuff for me to and they usually get it about the same day. Thanks for the filter opinion I was gunna get the filter & gasket kit from NAPA for $22 maybe I'll check this out and thanks for the heads up on the ATF
