Default lights dont work well?

well ever since i got my ram my lights havent been working well. With my brights on the light doesnt even compare to the usual low beams of other cars. i run on high beams at night and idk the problem is? i just got new light bulbs today, and still not that bright. the fuses are good. any hellp? i live in the country and really need the most out of them

Are your lenses hazy? If so, pick up one of those headlight restoration kits and go to town on 'em. I've used the Crystal View and have been quite pleased with the results. 3M makes a kit that is very good and comes with orbital pads rather than elbow grease wet/dry sandpaper. There are others, they're probably all about the same.

If you want the best legal light, and don't mind spending to get it, throw a pair of PIAA Xtreme White lamps in there. But don't even bother if your lenses are hazy because all you'll get is an expensive disappointment. If you're in deer/elk/moose or ranch country (oh how I hate Angus on the road at night!) you'd do well to get some nice driving lights mounted above the bumper and wire the relays so they turn on and off with your high beams.

Do they still look yellowish or no? You can try and upgrade to hids.
