Anybody have any input on putting a MSD box and coil in my truck. 6A and a blaster 2 coil. I've tried the search and it just says to general. The box and coil came out of out 69 pontiac. they arent to old, thought maybe they were bad, so we bought new ones, come to find it was the alternator.
Any write ups on these?

I mounted my Blaster 3 using a MSD bracket and a cheap bracket from Lowes to the stock ignition location, using new bolts/nuts/washers.

 

what wires are what under than when you hooked up your coil? I looked at those instructions, and it shows one with the stock coil and box, then with the blaster 2 and box? I'm still a little lost

I do not have the MSD box, but I believe the first diagram on page 20 of that instruction book is the setup you want. Difference is that instead of the stock coil in the diagram, you'll obviously have the Blaster 2, which will benefit the box more.
