Default Engine issues? Burning oil/coolant

Hey all,

after 275000km i think i may have my first engine issue on my 96ram. Its the V6 engine. Ive noticed that after the truck sits for a while, overnight for example, when i start it up i get blue smoke out the exhaust. i think, fine, valve seals. doesnt do it when im driving so no big worry... yet.

i just popped the hood and peered at the mess of sludge that tends to build up on the outside of the engine. i noticed some green there. looks like coolant.

just looking to see what i should be looking at to determine if there is an issue or not. im sure there is, then i need to know how serious it may be.

any thought at all would be helpful, may get looked at later int he week.

no pics because theres no need. no engine issues at all. i went to take a pic but there was no coolant anywhere. levels are fine. keeping an eye on it just in case but my guess is a hose a tstat just leaked a little. thanks for the suggestions, checked into all of them
