Default tire and wheel question

So my truck is a 99 ram 1500 all stock right now. I have seen 35s fit on others with the 2.5 spacer up front and a little offset on the wheels.

I found a decent deal on some tires i want , but they are 35x10.5x15, will the 15 still fit on my truck ? or would that be too tight with the brakes ???

They will fit..... might have to do some grinding on the calipers, and tie rod end though. I would suggest passing on the 15's though. Also, 35 inch tires with the stock 3.55 gears is really going to put a strain on your transmission....... they weren't exactly the best when they were new.

I am getting the gear swap done soon too, i found a place i can get it done for about $1000, so thats in the future too.

If its going to be an issue, would rather not be grinding. Ill just stick with the 16.

I was reading thru the search too on this, and i notice peeps saying they are cranking the torsion bars for more lift, but that was mainly in the newer models. Can i do this also with my year?

No. You don't have torsion bars. You have coil springs. Newer trucks are independent front suspension, totally different than what you have.

You CAN, however, replace your front springs with those from a similar generation diesel, or V-10 truck, and pick up a couple inches that way. There are also coil spacers available..... In combination with an add a leaf, you get an inexpensive lift.
