^Yes but the 360 was still being used in 2002, therefore I would assume that the PCM wouldn't have changed.

i could see where the misunderstanding came from...in the 3rd gen ram's the pcm has to communicate with alot more modules and everythings alot more intergrated then the 2nd gen's making the computer programmed way differently..

Go where I got mine. Autosource Modules. They make them, they FULLY test them and run a full burn in, ESS test, shock test, vibration test, salt, fungus, dust and sand, thermal, mechanical shock etc and best of all- they warranty them. TOP quality MIL rated components as well. I paid 350.00 for mine with FULL lifetime warranty to boot.

The problem with all / most after market PCMs other than the one I listed is, they are not made to spec use cheap components, not fully tested and, they are refurbs that will eventually crap out. Cheap, but not any good. I know where they get them and, why they are so cheap. If you plan on keeping your truck, get a good one. If you plan on selling it- get a cheapo that someone else will have to deal with in a year- which is right around the time they fail again-usually.
