Well, you also have the tank neck to think about...

Just be glad you don't have to pay to fill up a 35 gallon tank.

If, for shins and giggles, the fuel line and rail holds 1 pint of fuel unpressurized, how much fuel does it hold when it is compressed and under the pressure of the fuel pump?

I have a 8ft bed on my Ram 1500 2001 5.2L quad cab. I have been told I have a 30gal tank. I guess the previous owner maybe over exaggerated.

I don't think gasoline compresses that well.... if at all. A lot like water.

Longbed envy to overcompensate for something

I've never seen more then 22 gals ever go into my tank and the most I've driven my truck after the low fuel light comes on is like 30 minutes. Maybe my truck is just good at sipping on gas once it gets low?...lol

You may have a 35 gallon tank, as you do have the long bed. You should run her down to 1/8 of a tank sometime, and see how many gallons go in.

Or you can request a build sheet from Dodge, that'll tell you your fuel tank size.
