OK HERE IS MY QUESTION... CAN I PUT A RADIATOR THAT CAME OUT OF A 2000 RAM 2500 WITH V-10; INTO A 1998 RAM WITH A 5.9 (GAS)? I CAN SEE MOUNTING HOLES IN THE SUPPORT WHERE THE WIDER V-10 RAD WOULD GO... ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME AND INPUT.

It will fit but you might have trouble getting the hoses to fit. I will be doing either the v10 or diesel rad swap soon

 

Definitely had the same thought, my truck has never run hot or even tried to, but I still like the thought of having a larger radiator as insurance of that never being a problem. I already put a tranny cooler in, and have flushed and checked the entire cooling system with good results. I am also interested to know what will fit in our trucks with minor or no modifications.

 

I have been talking about doing this for a long time. I sent a PM to a guy on DT that just finished his swap he put a diesel rad in his the D-rad is 2 core but has no trans cooler. The v10 is 3 core and has a trans cooler but the hoses are big and don't know if you could stretch the hoses that big.
