The night before the gears go in... UPDATED
Also I did use a stand rear gear and not the yukon. I'm thinking about calling the place I got my gears from and seeing if they will return it and send me a rear yokon gear set. I'm sure I'll have to pay a little more but thats fine.
dam that suck but there should be no whines or clicking they just dont go away. I just had my done not to long again and it was whineing when it went in the gears were getting ready to fail. But after you cant hear a thing. If you need to find another shop to look at it we can alwas take it to the guy i used i am sure he well fix it up for you.
Just to add if you drop it into N and rev the motor it goes away.
I would deff like him to look at it ill give u a call later.
Ethan I need to do the drive shaft u joints as well.

I agree with the rest. If it didn't do it going in, it shouldn't be doing that coming out (of the shop). I don't care if they say its in spec or not, I would respectfully talk them into making it even more "in spec" to where its not whining.
I'd print the pages of the FSM dealing with the rear Diff specs and take it there with you and make them open the Diff and show you the measurements. 10:1 they have little to no experience with setting a dodge Diff. I'd also call the BBB and file a report as well.
The guy who did the work did say this was his first 9.25 to me and my father, which I though it wasn't a good sign.
I plan on calling them monday and saying its getting worse they did say they would fix the issue.
I don't want to call the BB yet I want to give them a chance on making it right before I take that step.
These guy build and race buggys at the off road park so they know what they are doing for the most part.

First Dodge 9.25" rear is NOT a good thing to hear since every axle/diff tech I've ever talked to says that the Dodge rear end is a different beast and you not only want to find a tech who's done many gear setups but one who's done many DODGE GEAR SETUPS!!!
Give 'em a chance to make it right, but don't back down, either...

Yea there going to get there chance to make it right but if they don't I really do feel like I need some kind of refund on the rear end. I mean it might be ripping the r&p to $hit and I'll problay need another install kit?
If they can't fix it I guess I'll send it to the dodge dealer ship for what I hope to be the correct fix.
