Gauge Routing?
so i got my dual gauge pod and the 2 autometer ultra-lite trans and diff. temp gauges delivered to my house, and i had the gf sho me what all came with them on cam, and they dont come with a wire kit or nothing. so im gonna have to make and run the wires from the gauge to the sending unit. but my question is how should i route them so that mud and things dont pull the wires down? how would i hold the wire in place along the frame? thanks for all the input guys.
For the trans temp, run it across the top of the cowling under the hood and zip tie it to the existing wire loom, then run it down the trans dip stick tube to the transmission wherever you are installing your sending unit.
For the dif temp, run it inside one of the frame rails, there should be a hole here and there for a zip tie. Wire loom would be a great idea for a little more protection.
