Finally installed my Edelbrock full header kit.
I'd first like to comment on the percieved high quality of the Edelbrock kit. It fits perfect. It came close to my bellhousing/starter on the driver side but not touching.
It did about as I expected performance wise and yielded perhaps 5ish hp across the RPM range as measured per my highly calibrated butt dyno. Not a ton but I was expecting that based on my research. Also noteworthy is the slightly louder and meaner exhaust note. My impression is I seem to be getting sbout what would be expected of this type of mod. One thing worth noting though is my highflow cat and 3" catback job seemed to be a much more noticeable power increase in case someone is trying to decide betweeen the two and is quite a bit less spendy all said and done. I'm at a: all the little things count and add up stage of my performance enhancement approach though.
Of course there is also the all important cool factor. It scores all the chicks. In the 2 or so hours I've been driving around with them now I been scoring way more than normal.
In summary it is a thumbs up for me if you can afford the price of entry considering what can realistically be expected from this type of mod. Probably not the best bang for the buck out there but it is something IMO.
On a final note I'd also like to thank CPTAFW163 for hooking me up. Thanks bro!

Congrats, good solid mod & correct on gains, the action sounds like a bonus lol
Headers always been my 2nd mod on anything Im increasing performance of(K&N 1st)
Had Edelbrock TES hdrs & ypipe on my Indy from 97 to 09
Saw .12 off ets & much better tone/feel, never leaked good value IMHO.
Magnaflow 3" cat good for .28 off ets. (much faster ets/3x hp of hdrs)
