Default 96 1500 Cruise Control

I just recently purchased a '96 Ram 1500 with the 360 v8.

The cruise control is the only thing that does not work on it. I have tried to find a fuse for it, but can't seem to locate one.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've had the same problem with mine for years. When you hit the on/off button, does the LED light up?

there are several things that could be causing your cruise to malfunction. i had a similar problem no too long ago. i changed the servo under the battery, the cruise switches in the steering wheel, the neutral safety switch on the tranny and a couple other things. i finally got it working, but after changing so many parts all at once im not real sure what fixed it. good luck and i hope this helps some

Same problem. My LED does not light up. All fuses look good, though not sure which fuse CC is on.

My LED does not light up when I hit the ON button.

Where is the neutral safety switch on the transmission?

Check the cruise servo, under the battery, have a look at electrical connections. Are they eaten up by battery acid? Also, while you are there, check the vacuum lines.

Not sure which fuse if for CC.....
