Default Truck plans hit major snag

Well my slow build up of my truck have hit a major snag. Sister in law borrowed my truck to make a dump run last week and I get a call saying the truck will not move and its sitting on the side of the road. She tells me it runs fine but will not move and is making noises. I tell her to leave it and I will get it towed home. When I got home from work start truck up and put it in gear and sure enough no movement and it sounds like something is trying to get out of there. So now my TB and intake plans are on hold and I guess I am doing a tranny.

Could also be a transfer case issue as well. Think you should get into looking real close.

Sorry to hear

or shattered your flexplate that would explain the noise and its not unheard of..but the noise would be there in and out of gear..

Well money is tight right now so it is parked till I can get some money together but will def look into the transfer case. It makes no noise when in park and i can get it to go forward a bit. Tranny fluid is not burnt and it was giving no indication of any problems. I know the output shaft seal on transfer case was leaking so I will def have a long look at it.
