Default Hard to push accelerator

Okay, so I removed my airbox and checked for oil in the intake. It was there. No big deal right, I know what to do. But ever since I put it back together my accelerator pedal is hard as hell to push and it won't go all they way to the floor like it should. WTF did I do to it?

When I stopped for gas I check the linkage and everything and it all seemed loose to me. Is there anything else I should check for?

TIA

Make sure the linkage on the throttle body isn't pressing against the airbox. If it gets reseated improperly that can happen.

Figured it out! The cable from the accelerator wasn't underneath that black plastic "tensioner" or whatever piece that is on the TB. So basically, when the pedal was to the floor, it was barely pulling on the TB.

That's happened to me about every time I've taken my air cleaner off.

Thanks Annihilator....I found this tread...same thing happened to me. I tried everything!! I replace air filter...reset ACC sensor, gutted cat (which needed it). I was going to somehow tighten up the cable at the accelator. I read your post and fixed my problem in about 20 seconds! You guys are a great help.

Speaking of the air cleaner....what IDIOT designed that thing? Its the most god awful, pain-in-the-*** thing to put back on after removal...It never goes on unless you bang the **** out of it with a rubber mallet LOL....

I dread doing any work that requires me to take it off...
