I second that! That is why I have a cold air intake on my 98 because I was so sick of messing with the factory piece.

Yup.

First thing on my list after I get some extra $$$....The drive behind me purchasing one isn't even for the extra performance..its just to be rid of the horrible stock air box....LOL.

I am so glad that these old threads still exist! Changed out my IAC and was having the "hard pedal" problem. Came to DF and bam! Fixed and ready to roll.
