Default 2WD Lifts Kits?

Hey everyone I just bought my first truck and I'm used to having cars and lowering them so I'm not used to lift kits or where to find them. I bought a 1998 Ram 1500 regular cab short box 2WD and I'm having trouble finding any suspension lifts or body lifts for the 2WD model. So what I'm wondering is...
Is there such thing? Where can I get them? Whats the best brands? Is there anything extra I need to buy to make these kits work?

Thanks.

I think you are looking for a leveling kit. http://www.autotrucktoys.com/ram/Day...-PRD27444.aspx
I am not recommending this particular product, just to show you what a leveling kit is. This will lift your front end giving you more clearance for larger tires. It will remove that stock forward lean as well.

There are plenty of lifts for a 2wd. Do a search on here and you'll see plenty of options. You can always do a bodylift for a 2wd just like a 4x4. For suspension, you can do add-a-leafs or blocks in the rear and there are many options to lift the front. I just ordered a 3" lift spindle and 1" block to lift my 2wd.

I guess what I would be looking for is a 3 inch body lift with about a 4 inch suspension lift...any links for either of these for a 2WD? Anything else I would have to buy to go with either of that to make it work on the truck as far as steering or anything along those lines?

Ok go to PA for the body lift

And I think that there is a couple of 3" and 6" kits but what you could do is build your own if you only want 4" suspension....you could do this with 3" spindles and a spacer, and then a small block in the back or a lift shackle

Thanks for the help!

So far I found the 3 inch body lift for my truck at this link...
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-7867300/

Also I found this 4 inch block lift for the rear at this link...
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLF-4049/?rtype=10

Now to find the 3 inch lift spindle. What size spacer should I get? A one inch? Or would a 2 inch leveling kit make it perfect where I am getting a 4 inch block for the back?

I appreciate all the help guys!

4in block for the back is way to big, you could probraby get the 4/1 from doetsch and be pretty happy but with the 4inches in the front I would go with a 2in block out back to keep from having the front higher than the back

Alright I get what your saying now. So I guess the route I'm going to take is 2 inch block in the back, a 3 inch lift spindle in the front with a 1 inch spacer, and a 3 inch body lift.
