Default Sagging headliner

My headliner has started to sag by the windshield. Any ideas on how to fix this so it doesn't get worse ?

They make aerosol adhesives at the parts stores that you can use, but the best way is to re-upholster it.

the head liner can be removed from the truck, but you'll have to remove the A and B pillars, the overhead computer if you have one, and then you can remove it. there should be pretty detailed directions in the FSM.

Yeah 3M makes a glue and theres a couple more brands too, my autozone had some cans, I picked a small one and when it drops down I will fix it just dont spray it on the material you are supposed to spray it on the foam and let it half dry before pressing the material back on it, if not it will look like ****

This is a good temp fix but eventually you will need to redo the headliner

I've done headliners for a long time now and here's what I can tell you.

For the headliner portion that is overhead (not pillars etc) a spray adhesive WILL NOT WORK! It CANNOT stand up to the summer temperatures, and will melt when hot. There is a liquid cement that can be bought at Home Depot, and should be sprayed on with air gun. This is how the professionals do it.

Pull the headliner board, scrape all the foam off, fold the fabiric and spray half the board and half of the material, let it get tacky, smooth the fabric down and then do the other side.Leave overlap on the sides and front and back and glue that down and let it all dry according to the glue instructions.Reinstall and marvel at how good you are.

Do as mrfreeze said, there is a video posted on here somewhere. 10 minutes ago I just glued my sunvisor together and will get it up tomorrow. Then hopefully get some pics of my headliner I recovered 2 weeks ago in realtree hardwood.
