37s here we come!
Hey all i just got a steal on some 37s mounted on chrome 17s. gonna make em fit this weekend. anyone have any experience with how much lift is generally required? from some quick mesurements it is looking like a 2 inch lift in the back and 4.5 out fromt to make er level and clear them. sound about right? btw i love my sawzall, but trying to keep er in the tool box for this one
yea i think some people have got them on there with a 3" lift, but i think they still had some rubbin. usually 5" is about where you wanna be. but i have also always heard over a period of time depending on how you drive and all, that 37s on stock axles will not turn out good, causes lots of wear i have heard. just something to keep in mind.
WEll for one he is a 2500 so he should have dana 60 depending on the year.
2. Its a 2500 which is taller and they can fit 35" with on an issue.
2" should be enough in the rear and 3" in the front will do the trick.

yea i wouldnt go that big with a half ton running gear, but i have the 60 rearend.
it looks as though i can clear 35s no prob. i was thinking blocks out back for now, and spring spacers up front and i should be golden.
i will post pics for sure as i build er up.

spacers up front will gain lift, but with out longer control arms, you wont gain any clearence between the tire and the rear of the fender
that is a good point, i took a look at her though, i dont believe that fabtech upper control arms are stock, so here are a few pics see what you all can tell me, since this is how i bought her! i think it might already have better control arm that could help my cause, see what you think.
