Default thinking about removing my cat ?

I was thinkin about removing the cat from my 96 ram 5.2. I currently have flowmasters on it. I was wondering if I would lose power and what would it do to my mpg ? Will the exhaust start to stink really bad ?

i lost low end taking mine off, you think you gain power because its louder and you give it more gas.

when i put a highflow cat back on i gained low end and it was still loud
