body lift is easier and cheaper, but suspension is the way to go performance wise. i personally try and stick with only suspension lift. in my experience the body lift can cause body roll. that is no fun.

Body lift does not cause body roll.
I have both on my truck, and in my opinion, a suspension lift is actually easier to install.
BL is cheaper.

How do you plan to use your truck?

i said that it can, not does cause body roll. i have dealt with vehicles before that had that problem, granted never a dodge though.

but depending on the tools you have at hand you are probably right about the suspension lift being easier. i have a lift at my shop, so i am spoiled lol. using jacks and what not to do a bl is probably a royal pita.

it sounds like what you plan on doing with your truck you could use a mild suspension lift and creep up to 33s or maybe even 35s and maintain a very usable truck.

if you go to high it is a biatch to get bikes in and out (trust me)

Slap some 2" pucks in the front and be done.

I have Both a 5" Suspension Lift and a 3" Body Lift. I have felt no "Body Roll" I am running 35" s . They were both a pain to install as my truck is a 1995 and from canada.....the salt had taken a toll on almost all fasteners. If you just want bigger tires you can run 285/75/16 with your truck riding stock. They still look pretty badass on a stock truck. I had a cheap set of Hercules Terra Trac and they looked good...but once I put the 5" and the 3" they looked stupid. I'm Running Mickey Thompson MTZ and they are a great tire on and off road...I am very happy with them and they are wearing very slow and even.

Hope this helps you on your decision .
