hey jason, wouldn't you say that the electric motor on an E-fan is a mechanical device?

I have had e-fans go out on my and overheated. I have never overheated because of a clutch fan not engaging.

the only way that u gain alot from e-fans if u have the old style direct fan but they stop making those along time ago. u will gain a little from e-fans but not as much as they claim. i am also will not use a e-fan in my truck i think for my application the stock clutch fan will do just fine
