Default cooling mod for the 408

Well I am still waiting for my custom cam from muscle motors but in the mean time decided to get her running a little cooler. bought a dual electric fan set up off a 02 neon Very Slim so it looks like it should work out perfect. I will have a temp operated switch but my delima is when the truck is off I dont want it running. could wire it off the altinator I guess

This topic needs to be in the 2nd Gen General Discussion. Don't post this on here, unless your asking questions, need help, ETC...

Is that fan setup going to pull enough air to cool a V-8?.....

if you want a fan that will keep your motor cool and give you some more HP and TQ then get the E-Fans.

LMAO! little no appreciable gain. your pretty funny, when you get them for trucks, it makes a big difference when your towning a load behind your truck or if your doin some wheelin out in the back woods. I think that little no appreciable gain, is still a gain in power in my books. And its well worth the money.

The great thing about the e-fan in my book is that it is much more efficient at idle than the factory clutch fan, as it id spinning fast continuously, not just at high RPM's like the clutch fan. Thus, better for those hot days stuck in traffic, and crawling through the trails at low RPM's. Plus, there is a noticeable increase in power, and your A/C will blow a tad colder, and faster.

Plus, you gain all that engine bay room, should be able to stand in the engine compartment with e-fans. At least with a 4x2.
