Get a SCT tuner from hemifever

hemifever@aol.com

275 for the tuner and 3 stock tunes (specify octane, because some areas sell 91 octane and some areas sell 92 and 93).

If you start upgrading the cam/heads, then you pay $100 and he will do a custom tune for you.

YOu will LOVE how your truck drives with the tunes. ALl you need to do is get the hughes plenum plate and a 180* thermostat.

EDIT: do not do this if there are any problems with your truck. It will not FIX any problems, only help a good working truck.

OK so this is what I've noticed my transmission will shift down for like 5 sec when I'm trying to get speed but then shifts up so it kicks me into low rpms and wont really go over 80 again in low rpms the whole time

Definitely need a tuner to get rid of the dealer flash.
