I believe 94 was 2.5" pipe. Does it appear to neck down at all, or is the pipe straight? Dodge did not use a 2.25" pipe on the 2nd gen Ram in any year I am aware of.

Cut a 2.5 inch circle out of an old pizza box. hold it behind the pipe and see if you can make it disappear. If it did, you have 2.5 or bigger. If you can see a significant amount of hangover (depends on how accurate you cut) you have a smaller pipe.
My truck is currently at a garage which is not that close to me so i could not measure it. Thanks for the info though guys, i picked up a 2.5 inch inlet/outlet cherrybomb glasspack earlier. She should sound nice with the gutted cat. I have a question though, would you guys just put a turn down right on the glasspack or run the remainder of the stock exhaust which comes out at a 90* behind the passenger wheel? I don't like a tinny sounding exhaust much so i'm thinking just a turn down.

Personally, I would vent the exhaust out from under the truck. You don't need a bunch of heat and noxious gas collecting up underneath there.

well i could go with a straight pipe out the back or have it exit in front of the passenger wheel instead.

if you tow stuff don't vent out the back. You could fill your lungs with CO while hooking it up idling.

I wont be towing so that's not a problem. My biggest problem here is cost, i want the cheapest route but still look/sound nice.
