Replacement Radiator
I got the radiator replaced. The only thing I didn't do was the T-stat. I will hang on to it until a later date. I had to get it done and didn't have time to tear into the T-stat.
It was actually pretty easy, easier than any other radiator I have changed.

It is a very good design as far as replacement is concerned, I thought it was very simple as well. Don't have to really move anything around to replace it. I would go back to the Rad cooler and Aux cooler as you said, every bit of cooling helps, just make sure the exit line of your Aux cooler flows directly into the transmission return line so your transmission gets the coolest fluid possible.
I have the line coming out of the top of the radiator cooler into the aux cooler, then from the aux cooler back to the line that came out of the top radiator cooler.
I assumed that the radiator cooler worked like the engine coooling system. The upper radiator hose is where cooled liquid left the radiator. Is that correct on this truck?
