ok, i have a 1999 dodge 2500 4x4 with the 5 speed manual and a cummins 24 valve. my transfercase is bad and needs to be fixed. so then i came along a 1996 dodge 2500 4x4 with a blown v10 and auto transmition. i went and looked at the truck and talked to the people at dodge and the transfercases are the same so i bought the truck and im going to switch out the cases.

the only problem that i see is the shift lever is a little different between the v10 and my cummins. does anyone no if this will be a big problem? also the fact of going to the case being on an auto. and my truck is a manual???

i think it should bolt right up
