Yeah but, the truck cranks just as fast as it did when I bought it, I'd hate to throw away a perfectly good battery. So maybe I just have to clean the neg terminal every 6 months or so, I can deal with that.
It's not a perfectly good battery. It's a battery with a terminal post seal failure. It will grow progressively weaker until it doesn't have nuts enough to turn over your engine. Along the way, it might develop a drip that will eat your cruise control canister under the battery box.
