Default Ram 1500 5.9L BAD Issue!

So, in my truck. Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L V8-360. 2WD. 4 Door. Whenever I take the truck out on the road, it will have a really rough idle. You will literally have to floor it to get over 45. After a few pop noises from under the hood, it will straighten up and run fine usually for the rest of the day. This issue started last year. There has been NO modifications to the truck other than a new TPS that we bought, thinking it would fix the problem, which it didn't. Any guesses?

ALSO, we have a 2003 Dodge Neon, and now, it seems that you have to give it a TON of gas before it will climb a hill, any suggestions there too would be really nice!

pull the front O2 sensor, and take it for a drive. It will set the CEL, but, ignore it, and see if it runs better.
