That's the one. It has 180K on the clock but is much nicer than the mileage would indicate. The transmission and long axle are sitting in the trunk

Once my son saw it, he was jazzed. He can't wait for me to get it running. I'm going to use it as a daily driver and a new "toy" for VW shows. The Recaro seats are awesome. They hug your body just right and can tilt back/forth to adjust to the driver. Maybe not a big deal until you realize they aren't power seats.

Here you go, boys and girls. 3,160lbs of pure awesome! Now remember, my trailer weighs in around 1,800lbs and that weight is not included.

I was wondering if you every came up and got this car. Sorry I was not available to help out. You caught me right when I was doing a lot of travel for work and stuff. Glad the GTI is working out for you though.

3,700lbs yesterday. I had this Beetle LOADED with a lot of smaller parts. I'm talking packed to the gills. The cargo box of the truck was loaded with doors. Not shows are the two rolls of fence we loaded on there. It was all the ol' Dodge could do to climb the hills, but she made it!
