gobbell1 - what about the compressor oil? should i also put oil in the accumulator?

thanks for you tips/advise

You will need to:

1. Look up the right type (PAG, Mineral or Esther) and amount (usually 8oz or more) on the compressor manufacturer sight.
2. Pour the oil into the compressor before installation IF the lines are connected on the side of the compressor. If the lines are on top of the compressor, you can pour it in after installation.

I don't believe so. I just did my wife's Yukon last week and the compressor mfr said to add it to the compressor only. The oil will travel through the entire system so if the accumulator needs some, it will get.

But check with the mfr
