I will let you know when I am done. Estimation is about 150. Considering I had to drive a total of 80 miles to get the parts.

I'm going down to Tennessee in a few days I am going to stop at some of the junk yards on the way down and see what I can find. Hope I can find some air hats!

the guy quoted me at 45 a piece on the phone. I stopped by at work in my uniform and he sold them to me for 35 each. Full assemblies. I needed to go to 3 dakotas to get ll the parts I needed. Some didn't have the scoops.

CPTAFW163,

If you have a minute, since you have your hat apart right now, could you measure the inner diameter of where that second drop off happens (the drop off after the filter stand) and the height of the lip of that step down? The lid is more or less flat across so those 2 measurements should give you an adequate measurements to buy a filter.

I'd go to NAPA or some parts store and either buy the cheapest filter to test fit or test them in the store to check fitment.

14x3 fits in there. I is just a bit too tall. But you can do some shaving to the K&N and add some weatherstripping around the rim where you put on the lid.
