Question TMB/TIMBO APPS sensor, have you tried them, and what are the results?

First of all,....there is NO SPAM intended here,.....I'm just trying to figure out the quality of their sensors BEFORE buying (possibly) a DRAMA!

http://www.dodgecumminsapps.com/about.html

Has anyone of you tried this APPS sensor from Timbo?

I mean,...the TMB APPS sensor $160.00 deal looks almost too good to be true, especially after I called my local dealer today which quoted $750.00 (tax included) for the same sensor,.........WITHOUT installation! HOLY CRAP!
WITH installation the dealer quoted me today $1250.00!!! Are they OUT of their MIND or what!

If you HAVE tried TMB APPS sensors,...whats your experience in the long run;
-just a good as OEM?
or
-better then OEM?

How many miles have you driven after installation of a new TMB APPS?
Or how many miles were inbetween the prior TMB APPS and another NEW one?
-25K?
-50K?
-75K?
-100K?
[EDIT]Why the milage question?
Because my OEM sensor lasted 115K!
Quality and Durability IS IMPORTENT! [/EDIT]

-Does it stay stable or does it need to get recalibrated all the time?

Please reply,....I rather try to figure out the quality of the TMB APPS sensors this way, then ending up on the side of the road, which could put my job at stake!

Thanks in advance!

C'mon guys/gals/mechanic's,.....

These sensors have been on the market several years according to their website.

So there should be plenty of people who tried these.

A mechanic screen named: "hemicuda" on "repairpal.com" forum tried 3 OEM APPS sensors before trying one of TIMBO.
A year after installation he has no-problems whatsoever, and makes his truck,...quote:"run like a champ."

I could use some more succesful TIMBO APPS replies/advice though!

Anyone

You might want to try the CTD forum rather than the second gen -- more diesel guys there than here.

CTD FORUM?

Whats the CTD stood for: Cummins Turbo Diesel Forum?

Thanks for the warning,...I'll sign up with some diesel forums instead.
And copy/paste this thread there.
