Default re-painting the rear hitch

What is a good type of paint to use if I want to repaint the rear hitch?

I'd love to re-do it so it won't rust again anytime soon.

Any ideas?

Bedliner or Plasti-Dip would be more durable than just paint...

I ground mine down to the bare metal, primed, and 3 coats of paint. Has lasted me 4 years so far. Its even faring better than the hitch on my mom's '07 4Runner.
