Default Breather Cap, need answer ASAP!

How do you get that damn thing off. The one on the drivers going to the intake.

I replaced the pcv, and was going to replace that. But it ended up breaking when trying to pull it out. I need my truck, you think it would be fine to just clamp the hose onto the broken piece untill I can get a new one so the air can still circulate?

yes, you can get by with it broken. just jury rig it together, and try to avoid anything falling into the valve cover. are you talking about the plastic elbow thing? i had to break mine out in pieces. i might have even had to remove the valve cover.

edit - i also had to cut the rubber grommet out in pieces. it was like steel.

Figured it out, I decided to heat it up. Just started truck, let it get hot and then it came out easy. But that rubber grommet should stay on. Well from what I know at least.

yes the rubber grommet stays on. i removed mine only because i replaced them, which was because they were hard as rocks and pcv and such would not go in/out.
