On a 2wd the bumpstops hit the axle so that shouldnt be a problem, but if you were to take the rear block out, I would just leave the front stock and it should give the look you want, if anything a 1inch spacer, also if doing this make sure your lights are adjusted so you do not blind traffic

Okay, I got the truck back today and had rotors and brake pads installed, new Rough Country shocks all around and Rough Country 3" Lift Coils up front. I also had a nasty power steering fluid leak that got fixed. They weren't able to get the u-bolts taken off, but there is about a 3/4" block on top of the 3" stock block under the leaf springs. If possible, I may try and get the small block out some time, but I'm pretty happy with how it sits right now.

Lowering a 4x4
I want 2" in the front and 2" lower in the rear also.
Can I remove the 2" blocks in the rear?
01 1500 4x4 quad cab 5.9L short box.
I think I will have to cut the front springs to get 2" there,
Then the 2457516 tires will fill the wheel wells better,
unless I go with 225r16's. Im installing a Daytona wing, and
roll pan. I may go with a little wider tire than most.
see attachment..............
I think I will match some new shocks up with 2" shorter length
extended and retracted. Of Course I'll realign the headlamps....
and get a 4 wheel alignment.
I know everyone else lifts, but we are vertically challenged, and I want the stocker / sport look.
Thoughts?
